Welcome to the Indian Posthumanities Collective

Reworlding the human from South Asia

The Indian Posthumanities Collective (IPC) is an open, transdisciplinary space where thinkers, creators, philosophers and activists come together to reimagine what it means to be human—and more-than-human—in a time of ecological crisis, technological expansion, and ongoing colonial afterlives

We ask:
🌱 What forms of life have been excluded from dominant humanist narratives?
🛠️ How do local cosmologies and indigenous ethics challenge Western techno-scientific paradigms?
🌏 What does it mean to build planetary futures from the South?

Our work bridges philosophy, ecology, speculative fiction, AI ethics, disability studies, and visual culture—anchored in the lived realities of the Indian subcontinent.
